Terry Cloths...

    Never use a terry cloth on paint it will scratch the paint- A micro fiber cloth is the best thing to use to avoid scratches- Leave the terry for the Windows.

    The scratches come from the sewed part of the rag, and some have really hard instruction tags- they also can rip a mldg or grab a piece of plastic and break it!
