temp gauge sender

    To save me looking it up, can someone confirm which sensor on the coolant elbow is the one for the dash gauge? Mine is misbehaving so I guess it needs a bit of cleaning up.

    it should be the one with the simple push on spade connection rather than a dedicated connector.

    Thanks chaps, cleaned the connector up and the needle is solid again (was appearing to overcool under engine load).

    does someone have a picture for FE temp sender? i think i've got the right one, but when i bought a replacement, it seems that i've gotten the 5s-fe temp sender...

    Should'nt make any difference

    I've used GE senders on FE and visa versa

    is there a picture somewhere? the replacement i got does not go into any of the holes in the coolant elbow in front of the distributor...
