    coupe's are interchangeable with coupes

The whole tail lights are interchangeable, not sure if the vents are on their own. I'm thinking of doing this, I would prefer the combo your thinking of.

coupes/liftback's tail lights are not however, so just keep that in mind if you're pullin from the wrecker's or whatever....

Yeah I knew that, just didn't bother repeating what was already said :p

Its not really an issue here, as we didn't get many coupe's at all. I've only ever personally seen 1. Basically, odds are if you see a 4th gen its an SX Liftback (GTS liftback equivalent) :D

Its pretty good here actually. If it has 4 stud wheels, its an ST with a 3SFE. If it has 5 stud wheels, its an SX with a 3SGE. Makes it much easier to tell them apart. The only exception are early SX's (Like 1985 to mid '86) missed out on the power options, such as windows, central locking etc. Very early cars missed out on the rear spoiler which is otherwise factory fitment.

lol i have an 86 coupe which has 4 stud wheels, 3sfe, no power options (apart from mirrors) and no spoiler!

i noticed the grilles are different between a few models
can anyone give a rundown on differences between models/series/years!?
im keen to change a few bits but dunno what would fit or what would look good

    86-87 have the same grille

    88-89 have the same grille.

    aka pre-facelift and post-facelift

one has the piece under the headlights attached to the center grille and one has the piece detached I believe
