My front sway bar bushings are worn out. I don't drive that hard, so I'm just debating whether or not to upgrade to the polyurethane ones when the rubber ones are just $8 a pair. For the guys who have the polyU bushings, was it worth it?

PS - is the front sway bar 24mm on the GTS?

gts should be 22mm i think

tbh the poly difference is minimal especially if your not driving hard, in that case the dif is almost non existant from a handling point of view.
Poly will also last you alot longer tho

for the price upgrade to poly bush. it will mean that when you hear a rattle you can instantly rule out the anti roll bar bushings.

go poly. great upgrade for "spirited" driving. my whole front is all poly and the front feels great. go-kart like response. i guess i cant really speak to the sole upgrade of sway bar bushes, if your gonna have to start replacing the rubbers just go poly.

As far as the brand, you can go energy suspension or the superpro's for our cars. :cheers

Thanks, nice link. For the record, the fronts are 24mm, molded right into the factory bushings.

my old power steering leak and oil leak rotted the rubber control arm bushes, replaced them and swaybar with Super Pro poly, they will outlast anything else in the car im sure. The car feels tighter now, that said my old bushes were all farked.
    id recommend poly.

honestly i don't see the point of buying rubber ones. it's not like the poly is that expensive.

Can anyone confirm the ST182 bars will fit?

I hear they fit and and are thicker but haven't seen it yet

I will have a st182 suspension kit here soon (coilovers, bushings, sway bar, etc).

I'll be able to tell you if that'll work or not. I think it will though..as part #'s are the same between a lot of st182/st162 suspension parts.
