Great example of why you needed that bar - the unibody flex.
Jack it up, bolt it on and you'll be good :D

i think your car is crooked, as it it was hit at some point in its life. . or the one ond of the bar is just bent up..

i havent tried to bolt it on while on the jacks. i yet to do that. but i dont have the cetner bolts for it. still waiting on mafix to send them. or could i get some at the store? not too sure. might need a certain thred.

my body might be crooked because i rear-ended a truck going 30 mph. dunno though

problem solved. thanks to 89celicagt and thank you to Celic_GT2 for the suggestion that my car might have been crooked.

although i did have to force it in.

now i'm just missing the center bolts. when i do get them, i'll install it with confidence.

special thanks to MAFIX for supplying the strut for me.

I hope your car isn't all out of wack either from the accident or not having that bar there for an unknown amount of time :? eeek

    The bolt head is a 14mm, here's a photo

ok cool. i was sorta thinking that they would be 14mm because the bolts for the top of the suspension thing is 14 also. do you think i could buy some at any hardware store?

Probably, looks like just a normal bolt and washer to me. Make sure the threads are the same, and don't cross thread them it by accident.
    Here's a better photo:

keep poppin the ebrake and you wet the tires enough, its not a full on drift, more like a power slide. it will tear the shit out of your ebrake.
