    Project cancelled.

After the mess with my previous project, she is unfortunately being stripped and send off the the junkyard. Thankfully 4thgenceli was nice enough to pass me along Stormtrooper for my future project...

Her condition is currently drivable but needs some TLC. The car is currently in Douglas, AZ being worked on while I'm shipping parts to her out here. My future Father-in-Law is the one working on it at the moment in his garage. I'm flying down there on Nov 21st to finish up the work and drive her back to sunny California.

Here is the strippage of my current car.

The wiring harness was a PITA to pull out of the door. Yes those are pristine GTS seats. So sad, they need a new home. Not sure what to do with them.

Ready to be packed and shipped to Arizona.

Heres my current shopping cart at Rockauto for some parts I'm going to toss at her. I've found out that the timing belt hasn't been touched in a few years so that needs to be done among some other things while I'm in there. Any I missed that I should include while I'm in there?

I had no driveablity issues with her (and I wasn't gentle).

If he dropped the trans to inspect the clutch I would do the rear main since he's in there already.

Also since you're under the timing cover, I'd do the tensioner & other parts in that region. Water pump & thermostat if necessary (again I had no issues with overheating, and AZ is a good place to test a cooling system). The AC does work, just needs a good system evac & recharge with R134a.

Front brakes are NEW (rotors from about 3 weeks prior to the crash, pads 3 weeks prior to that).

I left the starter relay mod installed for you. I would also do a big3 upgrade in the engine bay (4gauge from alternator -> ALT fusible link, new ground from transmission --> chassis and a new ground from engine block --> chassis. This helped me greatly when I installed the subwoofer & amp. Had no dimming lights or battery gauge fluctuations when pumping it.

While you're in your car steal the antenna wire from the radio back to the antenna, and the antenna motor while you're at it. I don't know where the other one is (there is a plug for the antenna in the dash, but I can't find the other side of it at the back of the car).

4thgenceli: Yes the hood props are fine. I'll bring them in my carry on if you want :cheers I'll look into doing those mods though I don't have much time once I get there.

    eNtraxGT88: Come get them :fingersx

this may be ridiculous but.....shipping cost to v5a3z5 for the seats? or maybe to nate's place, which i could meet up with him on the next pnw meet...

I'm sure it would be cheaper for you to drive to Washington and scout junkyards for GTS seats over me shipping them.

For reference I just shipped two bumpers and the passenger door from California to Arizona for 179.99 today. It was the cheapest freight option.

Well I'm screwed. No. 3 piston had a crushed spark plug. New spark plug makes the engine knock. 50 days til I move and this. Fuck my life.
