So a couple days ago I noticed this clipping/grinding when shifting into 2nd, "it wouldn't do this unless I was gently shifting though" then a little bit later I'm pulling out of the parking lot and cant get it into 1st then I tried 2nd and it didnt work either, when the car is off it shifts perfectly though, any help would be great, thanks!

Also prior to this the clutch has been slipping, when hitting boost it'll raise 500-1000 rpm depending and then drop back down and pick up

A clutch that won't disengage completely will make shifting difficult, especially in 1st & 2nd gear, where your gearbox sychnonizer rings work harder (or in any case where your engine is not rev. matched with your gear & vehicle speed).
-A worn out clutch slave cylinder will prevent complete clutch disengagement.
-A worn out clutch master cylinder will prevent complete clutch disengagement.
-A bad pressure plate (e.g. warped) can also prevent complete clutch disengagement.

If your clutch is slipping (or not biting quick when released), then either:
-Your clutch disc is too worn out.
-Your pressure plate is warped (does your car shake when you release the clutch in 1st gear?)
-Your slave cylinder is stuck open (not very likely, IMHO).

Difficult to say. Seems to me you have 2 problems. I'd start with checking master/slave cylinder operation as well as leaks. You can verify slave cylinder operation without removing anything, just have someone pushing the clutch while you look at the front of the transmission.

will it shift when the car is not running? If it doens't shift as well, the cables can be worn or the bushings of the shiftercables are toast. Otherwise, see above :)
