Anyone take apart their OEM bodykit to check the metal supports and brackets? Mine are rusty and some have disintegrated. Just wondering if they'd be difficult to fabricate....

ST165-2765, you've been over every inch of these cars, you must have some pics of what they look like, yes?

^Yes, now I seem to recall seeing some of those pics on one of your threads a long time ago. Thank you for posting them again.

Well, when putting the kit on my gt-s I didn't use those ruste things and I trust in 3M automotive tapes :)

Using the existing screwingpoints and combining it with 3M was enough and tape doesn't rust. For the doorpanels I used 3M plus a lot of kit :).

I did 220km/hours with it without loosing any parts so I gues it's stuck on forever :).

^Good idea, but 3M tape makes it tough to remove. Rust eats up those little clips after 20+ years ack2

Yes, didn't you read my reply ? :)

Use the original screwpoints which are also with the gt-s gt or st or xs version and I did drill holes in the bottom for the sideskirts. These don't stick with 3M only :)
