    you should see it on monday or tuesday all going well!! :thumbsup: check to see if theres power going to the coil and you'll know...

    get a multimeter, set it to check voltage and then pull the plug of the coil and check to see do either one of them have voltage while cranking, not sure if one of them is an earth but its easy check! :thumbsup:

    correct me if im wrong about this

    ECU..... Nope...
    AFM..... Nope....

    Coil..... :fingersx :fingersx :fingersx ... As soon as it gets here.... Thats all that's left other than relays....

    Check ur bgb and find which relay it would be....then hit the yards for free ones. ...but make sure to grab spares......actually just take all the relays u can find

    After tearing the dash apart last to to put the ECU in, it wasn't the problem.... :aargh :banghead

    Got a package from my lucky Irishman in the mail today... a coil... a little, lousy coil...

    STARTED RIGHT UP !!!!!!!!! :crazy :naughty :crazy :bowdown

    Thanks to all who helped me in advice and in parts... Very cool, an much appreciated !!!! :bowdown

    Jon, I'll get you sorted soon, and Sean... THANKS !!! I'll make it up to you somehow !!!! :thumbsup:

    It'll be a couple days before He's roadworthy again... Got to put everything back together and give a good tune to him... :barf

    Another 4th Gen lives on..... :thumbsup: :science

    Which coil brand did you buy that was bad? Was it new?
    I've heard about a similar issue with igniters that were new, but just don't work :roll

    Distributor (Dizzy) in these cars are known to have issues. Looks like that's the only thing he hasn't replaced...
