i got a vinyl top that is about 3yrs old and where the top meets the window bow it is starting to spot all the way across hnoes , by spots i mean black vinyl turning white, i think it is from the rain whipping on it while driving :aargh ......any suggestions......
The color is turning white? That's odd hnoes Well I can tell you the top is made from sail cloth, maybe there's some kind of specific dye you can use? If you can find a upholstery place they should be able to help you.
There are 2 types of Materials for your car, Nylon and in a since sail top lol the Nylon based top is tuff to mount but it will last years longer than the sail lol Did you get your top off of ebay?
I bought the car from my buddy 2 years ago, he got the top from convertibletopguys i think about a year before that. But i think it is the cheaper of kinds that they provide (its got the dimple effect on the whole top)
