Ok, for me that's strange, we don't even get the P/S cooler which is standard everywhere else. I had a turbo sump on the Gen2 motor but even that's not compatible with what you're showing me. My new motor (in the shed) will have a ST202 box and the JDM water cooler which is not ideal either - there is very little water flowing through it as it's in parallel with the water pipes and was blocked when I got it Here's the speakers I threw away the other day, does your car have the bolt holes? This pic is also interesting in that the TEMS has extra metal around the shock towers instead of the insulation material you see in this pic
Yes, as my trunk deck trims are back into place now, I checked on a old picture taken during body work. It seems that I have the bolt holes for speaker boxes (it's not surprising as I think that all liftback bodies must be the same). So, if you can help me....
ill have a scout around!! im goin to look at another st162 tommorow so i wil have a spare set! ill send them to ya!
Still no luck with the speakers, pity you din't tell me before I see you have no mudflaps or side skirts either? or are they waiting to go on?
Pity. But I'm pretty sure that Kevin is going to find some for me in his country where people walks upside down
About mudflaps, I had a look on my 4gen brochures. On JDM, it was standart on GT4, GT-R, GT-Z, GT2000 & 1600, but not standart on SX, ST and SV On USDM and Canada, standart on GTS only, liftbacks & coupes. On NZDM, standart on all models : 2.0GT, 1.6GT liftbacks and 2.0 coupes. In Germany, standart on 2.0GT liftback, not standart on 1.6GT liftback. In Austria, unavailable on 2.0GT liftback, only model imported (as in France) In Netherlands, standart on 1.6GT and 2.0GT, liftbacks and coupes. And in Sweden, standart on 2.0GT liftback, only model imported.
Hi Sean, Mudflaps..? No, thanks, I do not like them. :? But if you find a pair of rear speaker boxes, you'll be welcome.
Much better with the black mirrors! Your parts were posted yesterday I was thinking about the electric problem- take out the round plug on your alternator, the battery light should be on only. If the other one comes back when you plug it back in, it is most probably the regulator/rectifier What is the voltage on the battery at idle? Yes, you can change the rectifier/brush pack without loosening the alternator, 3 size 8mm nuts Nippondenso did a nice job with the design of these units, I have some spare if you need It could also be the light warning box, let me know the p/n as I have 2 types
Hi Kevin, you're always here for me. If you have a cheap solution for a regulator, please tell me. Here, at a Toyota dealer, a brand new regulator costs an arm (or an eye as you want).... and I do not speak about a whole alternator :? Would this one fit my 3SGE alternator? http://cgi.ebay.com.au/TOYOTA-VOLTAGE-R ... 2bf3b#shId Not very expensive (AU$79.50 - around 47 euros) and only AU$14.50 intl shipping. I cannot take an accurate measure of the battery voltage at idle (no measuring tool on hand), but before the problem, at idle, the voltmeter needle was in the far right part of blue zone. Now, it's in the left part of the blue zone. So, for sure, the voltage is now lower. Where is located the light warning box..?
No worries, we are Team Celica First we need to find the fault That is the correct regulator, very expensive even on ebay! Swap the two alternator regulator packs first and see what happens My auto electrician wanted $180 for one of these  - since then I buy all scrap alternators and fix them myself The light warning control box is next to the back seat (your car may be opposite side?) I have two types, one is white and one is black (# ends in 60/70?)
