Anyone else have a sloppy rack???

If i drain the fluid and cut the belt ..i know it would stiffen up but i think i have a problem with the steering shaft

maybe your tierods are bad..or the sterring rack bushings are worn.

bumpsteer is due to your suspension not the car. see what angle your tie rods are at. you may need to flip the tie rods to bolt up the other way. that slop you are feeling is probabily due to loose tie rods. inner tie rods go bad fairly often on these. also the rack may be worn and need replacement.
