Sequential or Batch Injection?

Hey all, I'm getting ready to wrap up my 86 GTS project and have a few questions. Would be awesome if someone could help me out.

    1) Is the 86 3SGE engine sequential or batch injected? I'm struggling to find any info on the topic and need to know in order to set up my new piggyback ECU. :) Also if anyone knows the injection order that would be great!

    2) I see conflicting information on the ignition firing order everywhere for the 3SGE engine. Some say Cylinder #1 is the one nearest the passenger side of the motor and other diagrams say its nearest the driver's side where the distributer is. Also it looks like its a batch ignition system? Meaning cylinders 1 and 3 fire the plugs at the same time?

If anyone can point me to a place that has detailed info on the injection & ignition systems that would be fantastic!

the cylinder closest to the timing belt is cylinder 1. might get conflicting information because some are rhd/lhd. near distributor is cylinder 4.

    firing order is 1342.

Thanks! Usually with transverse I4 engines cyl 1 is nearest crank pulley, but the tech manual and chilton's are confusing.

The fact that Toyota was using sequential way back in 86 is pretty darn cool!!

Now to fine a pin out so I can retrace the injector leads..lol
