does it matter if its a coupe or a hatch if i wanted to switch my front grill from 87 to a 88 or 89? just in case your all wondering why, someone decided to smash my front passenger side grill wright under the headlight (headlight is cracked too).

oh sorry missed that, been a long day. Id highly doubt it matters. It would be highly cost in-effective for toyota to do that

I think between the coupe and the liftback there are no difference until the rear. The front are identical until the rear.

actually....my grille and corner lights are from an 87 coupe...and they're on an 88 hatchback :D

I had to do a bit of modification of the brackets....just a bit of cutting with some snips and bending...nothing major...fits fine....
