I have ugly rust on my quarter panel..the type of rust which is chipping the metal. If I were to replace it the quarter panel.. Would it be easy.. The rust is located on the rear wheel well. Near my driver rear wheel.

To replace the rear quarters involves unstitching all the welds, removing and welding up a replacement. usually the existing panel is repaired, unless major crash damage is being repaired. Some people simply cut out the rusted section and repair with new sheetmetal.

See St165's threads on his Trac and Celica Supra.

    ^^ what he said.

Cut the rust out, weld in new metal, smooth out... Or if it's not TOO bad but has just surface rust...you can sand it down to bare metal with no rust, fill with body filler, prime, and paint.
