Project Pinky HAS BEEN SOLD PICK UP NEXT WEEKEND

Well i know a lot of you already know about my Pink celica i bought from a guy for $150AUD.
I also know not alot of you would have seen a Pink 4th gen so here's the proof that someone has gone and done it.

The plans for the car originally where to get the engine running and to sell it but.....
With some convincing from some of the members and friends i have decided to try and bring this neglected celica to life and make it a bit of a sleeper.

Current State of car.
Running a 3sfe engine that needs a timing belt and water pump.
The interior is blue with the dash cluster surround pink and the tape deck surround pink.
Has 13inch nissan pulsar stockies with 165/70/r13 tyres on it.
Also has a complete sports exhaust system already installed.

Plans to be done
Gen 2 3sgte or 4agze
17inch ozzy racing RS GT rims Black with silver lip.
Tinted windows.
New side mirrors that actually fold for a change.
Rear spoiler off a st162 coupe
Whole new stereo system
Black engine bay
Black interior
New skirts around the car
Grill will be painted black
Lowered king springs super lows
Black roof possibly.

the afm was originally used with a pod filter and the guy made his own are for it and completely cut it all up and used a lot of cardboard in its place.
that's now all gone and a original one has been put in place.
Divorce pipe? sorry i'm new to some of these terms
but if you're referring to the coffee can on the back that might be going and a twin tip muffler in it's place
yer i've been looking for some extractors for it.
saw some on ebay but were not able to post interstate so couldn't get them.

Lol yer but will the divorce pipes im going with will be the same as the standard ones that come on the 4th gens but a little bit bigger and pointing upwards a bit.

Yer i want a bit of a change compared to most other cars here.
I like the sound of rev_heads car and hope mine will be similar if not a bit deeper lol

I'm currently sourcing out some rear lights for it as the ones on there i'm not a fan of.

Well i think it is time for a bit of a update.
As you all know i have a new st162 so pinky has been put on hold whilst i decide what to do with her.
I do however own a set of Post facelift tail lights for her that jester was soo kind to get for me from the wreckers.

At this stage i am swapping a couple of pieces from pinky into my new car to see if they still work.


I did take a couple of pics of pinky as i was just going to throw her up on ebay but as my fiance and i are still looking for a place to move it's not high on the agenda.

Yer I'm hoping i may be able to hold on to her as I'm not really putting money into her at the moment and she will be a fun car one day.

I have however applied for a job at supercheap auto,autobarn and repco, so hopefully i will be lucky and be able to work at one of these places and get some good car parts for the cars whilst i try and complete my course also.

Lol yer a hobby as i am studying to work in aged care then move to be a paramedic.Now that's something that sounds weird working on cars as a hobby but being in aged care or paramedic lol

Lol it's ok jon man.
Pinky is still going to be here until we decide what to do.
If we move into our new house we may bring her with us.
If not i will buy her a car cover and send her on her way to my grandparents property in the bush and sit her there until the time comes i can get her ready for the road.

Hey mate,
Yer i am selling the car as too many projects and lack of funds cos of my new car packing it in.
I have the tail lights but i would be after $120 pair. cos if i sell one i would have a hell of a time trying to get rid of the other one.

I reckon if the car doesn't sell (i hope it does) it will prob be stripped down or sent to the wreckers.
I would have loved to have got it on the road but at the moment my st162 and ra60 are higher on the list of being fixed.
