both should run off either a fuse or a circuit breaker on the drivers side behind the kick panel..

If the pax window doesn't work, but can be controlled by the driver's side master switch, check the pax switch itself. Replace switch or clean the contacts.

so if the master passenger switch doesnt work does that mean that the passenger window switch wont work {even if there is nothing wrong with it} :?:????

^No, if master switch is not working, the pax switch should still work, that is, unless the whole circuit is fubared.

Another thing it could be is the power window motor itself.
After removing the interior door panel, unplug the wiring to the power window motor. It'll be a 2-pronged plug. Now take 2 leads from a 12V battery and run them to the two prongs (doesn't matter which side to which). The window should go up or down. If it does, you know the motor's ok and it's most likely the switch or wiring. Reverse the leads and test both ways for up and down.
