This is just an enquiry of interest as i'm in a 'delimma' bubble. I had just finished my engine swap, and not even 2000km's later, my heater core started to leak. With the new motor, i wasn't going to waste time getting stuck in, particularly when loosing coolant. So i did a temporary block off, drove home, pulled the entire dash off, and in the process found a couple large areas of structural rust hidden under teh windscreen :(.

I might have to part the car then move on. Its been off the road more than on, and i need a daily :(. Thats my inkling, but we'll see.

    so!
    package:

    - jdm gen 2 3sge, told it had 65,000km's on it, feel like it, most smooth/torquey engine i ever owned in a car. can idle in second gear in a carpark without any jump or kangaroo hop. just had an oil change after a 500km run in. Filled with 15w40 castrol modern engine and Lucus engine stabilizer as i was concerned with cold starts. New plugs, dissy rotor, leads etc.

    - jdm st162 gearbox. flawless shifting, no probs.
-new clutch kit with machined flywheel
    - new engine mounts
    - gen 2 headers and cat back, bolts onto st162 exhaust mid way (so it can go stock from there on)
    - radiator with fan adapted for clearance with exhaust headers
    - gen 2 loom adapted for st162
    - gen 2 ecu
    - ICE thermo fan relay switch (adjustable/adapter) tuned to activate thermo fans at right temp

    - gen 2 to gen 1 airbox adaption such that it can bolt onto st162 stock airbox location, rather than run a silly pod in th engine bay.
    - All ancillaries including coil and ignitor for gen 2 etc.

IE: its a full kit, ready to go, such that within a weekend, you can just drive and enjoy. It took me 11 months to complete this project, and many hrs, thousands spent.

    Throw me an offer

So you're basically selling everything needed for a 3rd gen 3sge swap in a st162 right?
Is there a price range you're thinking of?
Also, are you willing to ship to the U.S?

    Thanks.

sorry guys, I eventually sucked it up, did all the rust repairs, replaced the heater core and replaced the cracked dash.

Its no longer for sale. Smoothest car i've owned and just completed a 1200km road trip without a single hickup. I'm in love.
Unless someone made an exceptional offer, i'm not willing to let her go.
