Nope, I've been mobilized and up in DC since last July. Dad's taking it in for the rebuild in the next few weeks, gonna blueprint it and port and polish everything too, I want it perfect and like new.

    Here's the new gauge cluster

why are you using a copper hg? i'll assume you know about all the other crap you have to do to use this.

Enlighten me please. I was told that the copper head gasket would lower the compression ratio.

in order to use a copper HG you have to o-ring the motor which is very expensive. what you should be using, especially if you want to lower the compression a bit is a 1.5mm cometic gasket. it's Multi Layer Steel. being that you live around here you can get it at Paradise Racing. the link is in the aftermarket support list.

On a side note, since we live so close we should get together one of these days and compare cars and such. I'll bring my girl and you can bring your son and such.

I think her car is back at her home, not with her...

The shop that's building it didn't mention anything about o-ringing the motor. I live here, the Celica and my son are both in TN still.

Yeah, I do, but right now the Army is paying for my engine rebuild and the 05 4runner that I just bought, and my 18 acres of land. I see Trey for about a week ever 2-4 months.
