Patch Panels for rocker area

    Yeah you've got a little more rust than I had...

    for the unibody I suggest you get some bondo that has fiberglass fiber's in it already..and after you grind all of that rust out....fill it in with that and it'll be harder than steel when it dries....but for the fenders if you want it to look better either buy aftermarket or do the sheet metal repair....

    Fenders are gone. i threw them away. gunna go with aftermarket, there was no saving my fenders they fell apart coming off the car...lol It's pretty bad but the metal underneath is perfect not a spec of rust. and think i am going to have a welding shop cut it out and place caps on the edges there since thats where my fender bolts up to and there no metal to bolt to anymore . FUN FUN ...I HATE rust.

    If Mafix wants to, he/I have a straight white hood off of an 87. Could take a ride up there possibly/meet half way and get it to you. I made sure to keep from cutting the heck out of it for scrap metal when we took it off.

    Good News, Went to the Junk Yard on Saturday and I got the patch panels a friend of mine is going to cut them and weld them in for me, The celica will live again !!!!! Hopefully soon.. lol Thanks for all of your help and advice on this issue. You guyz are awesome!!!!

    that was some crazy rust, reminds me of where my spare tire was :shock: good to hear youve got it taken care of tho.

    Nah i didn't give up, NEVER give up on a celi !!!!! Things have just been crazy, have the new metal but have to wait till my friend can weld them on for me.....i can't weld...tried but not very good. lol
