old celica dragon emblem

Have you thought about painting it? I am looking for one also, and all I can find is the blue one... So I plan on buying one, and painting it... That's about all we can do... lol

 

yeah, im thinking about just getting a blue one,tape it off, sand it, prime it and paint it to color match my burnt orange Then plop it on the front of my hood for a hood emblem. eh?

 

That would be different. The usually go on the quarter panels behind the doors on 71-78 celicas. I think? I think it would make a great grill emblem, assuming you can make a tiny bracket for it.

 

yeah i just think it would look better on the hood . You have me going with the grill thing..... that might be something i would consider.. thanks for the idea! now how to make a bracket for it haha.

 

Wouldn't be all that hard. Just hook a small piece of aluminum to the back of it, such as the "toyota" word is, currently on the grill. Then add a couple mounting screws, long enough to go through the grill and hook to another small piece of aluminum to hold it in place... Then screw on a couple of nuts, and its all good. Anyone know what I am talking about? lol I am a little confused myself!
