Um... on a scale from 1 to 10, how bad is oil in the intake tubing.... cuz um.... yea thats what i found when i took apart my intake..... i know its not good... just how bad is it....? I know it has to do with the turbo, so what would be wrong with it?

    All-trac's are super expensive to own...fun I'd imagine....but expensive...haha

I know there's lots of carbon buildup there since the PCV valve recirculates the exhaust there...but oil... :s i duno!

Well, it just depends. EGR recirculates exhaust, while PCV keeps a vaccum on the crankcase. The PCV is putting straight oil vapor back into the intake so it clogs it up. (Hence the big deal with oil catch cans).
Now, the real question is, do you get blueish/grey smoke out of the exhaust when you build boost? If so then Id say the seals in the turbo are bad. If not then i wouldnt get overly consererd with the oil in the intake. Its just restricting airflow.

the oil in the intake is normal on the 3sgte platform.

easiest fix is to just put a fuel filter inline with your pcv tube. It catches all the oil from getting into your intake

you need a catch can not a filter.
