    I like the B&G springs for sure. . .

I think they have the lowest drop of all the springs. . .

Been meaning to ask. . .

How is the ride on cut springs? especially with 2 rings cut?

not too bumpy.....and i only have the front cut...i did do the back but i didnt like the way they were cut....i would've only done one in the back....i didnt want it to pop out on a driveway or something.

-hey cliff. what offset and width are your wheels? do they rub at all?

-also the brembo rotors....brembo very specifically says they do not make drilled and slotted. are they a special order or something? ebay rippoffs maybe?

My wheels are 15x7 with 0 offset all around.

Definitely rubs without fender rolling and negative camber.

    As far as the Brembo's...

They are custom made one offs by a local shop/Toyota heads from Brembo blanks...

if your ride hieght wasnt so low would would it rub w/o rolling?

-im just trying to ballpark what width/offset im gonna shoot for. id like to have atleast a 15x7. i really dont wanna roll em.

I'm assuming your suspension is harder than mine...

If so, then I think you can go as low, not lower...

And if I raised my car up, I wouldn't doubt it would clear...

Also, keep in mind I had to get thinner tires size 165s...

    yeah suspension is super stiff.

-dont want to go lower. i think i have a 1.5in drop, but the springs came with the car, so ill have to look it up to find out exactly. looks like your lower than i am.

-with the 7in width was the clearence issue with just the fender? or the fender and the strut?

-i want to get the widest tire possible with out rolling the fenders. so i guess im trying to figure out max wheel width and proper offset so i can get some old school wheels.

It's just the fenders rubbing, not the struts...

Unfortunately I don't have the right equation nor solution for the proper width/offset ratio,
but I do believe there's no going around fender rolling if you want low offset wheels.

    Especially with wide tires...

My friend owned a pre-facelift once and had 15x7 Toms wheels with +35 offset and 195 tires
and was rubbing under hard loads/corners...

But then again, his was a daily so his suspension isn't as stiff as yours...

May I ask why you're opposed to rolling your fenders?

It's easy as pie, and gives you more room (literally) to work with...

How much rolling did you have to do for your current setup w/ stretched tires?

-i guess im not completly oppesed to it. at this point im half tempted to just go bosozuku and throw some ridiculous flares on it with the kit, then just trim em up. only thing im worried about with that is being able to fit it in the garage.

-mainly i want the widest tire i can get without stretching the tire at all. that i wont do. form vs. function i guess. not knocking it at all. i really dont care about the offset or a lip, just want a wide rim to fit a wide tire. the offset would just be whatever i need to center the rim in the wheelbase.

-ive also come up with a great idea for the hood :mrgreen after that itll be 5ft tall exhaust pipes :hehe

Well, I can't wait to see the finished product. Especially with the Kaminari painted.

If no one buys 'em, I might as well cough up the money and paint it. I'd really rather have the coilovers first but we'll see.

Oh, Andrew, if you don't mind. . .

You think you can photoshop my rims on this picture? Slammed of course. Thanks. (Trying to decide which one to keep and put on)

You still going for those ebay coilovers?
Lately, I've been thinking about trying to make my own coilovers to cut down on the cost... What do you think?

As for the photoshop, I'll see what I can do. Might not be super pretty cause of the lighting and angle...

One thIng I learned, is doing it right the first time.

Every time I cheaped out on something, I almost always end up not really happy with it
and end up buying the more expensive one.

Especially on an investment like coilovers, I think I'd rather wait it out.
Remember, those Selex coilovers are rebuildable. So you can purchase only parts
    that need replacement.

Thanks for the tip. I'll keep that in mind.

For fender rolling, do you think I would be able to pull to fit a -19 or -15 offset 15x7 wheel, or would I have to get fender flares at that point?

    Thanks.

Oh, and here's the photoshop. Sorry if it's a little rough. Hard to do with that quality and angle.
