Am l in the right thread?
I was reading a link about a white light in Grafton that needs an engine.
So I could put my engine in there while l am fixing up the original engine and then l would have my White rolling shell (not rusty) available.
    But
If that entire car is $800 then my complete car without an engine, wont be worth much?

Probably not, unless everything else is in REALLY good condition. Two White Lightnings have sold recently sans motor for less than $500 apiece.

    alltrac 165 = GT4 Turbo?

OK to get back on topic
    The Alltrac Celica 165
    which one was that?

Was it the 1989 smoother celica with the wide rear track and AWD that used a 2 litre turbo 3S3ge.

I liked those cars, then the model with the intercooler moulded bonnet ;);):biggrin2 more.

No, you're thinking of the next model, the ST185. The ST165 was the same body shape as the ST162 but it was AWD and had the 3S-GTE. We called it the GT-Four, in North America it was called the AllTrac. All of the turbocharged AWD models had a chassis code ending in 5:

    thanks Matt

;) so the "16(2)" is two driving wheels
the "16(5)" is for two extra driving wheels + the turbine :D
