Hey, everyone. I've been lurking for a long while, but thought it's prolly a good time to actually start posting and introduce myself. I don't have a 4th-gen currently; I'm running around in autobahn stormer style with a '95 BMW 540i/6 with some light mods. My first car back in 2001, however, was an '86 GT-S coupe and I owned an Alltrac several years ago. Call it nostalgia, but I always regretted letting those go. Now that I'm a bit older, wiser, more established... I think it's time to get into another ST165. Frankly, I'm kicking myself right now as I purchased an '02 Bonneville to keep the 540 out of the snow and slush this year... unbeknownst to me until after the purchase, my old ST165 was actually up for grabs. It's been neglected over the years, but it would have been rewarding getting her back to where I wanted to go so many years ago. I just got a hefty promotion at work, so I think the time has come to hunker down and get this goal accomplished. So, I'm here to lurk around some more, perhaps grab some parts in the meantime while keeping an eye out for a good 'Four to catch my eye. Just have to be patient.
And a quick bump with a little update. I'm going to be putting a deposit down on an ST165 this weekend. It's going to require some travel and a little more time to save up the necessary scratch, but I think I'm going to pull the trigger on the right one. I'll be back in the ranks in due time. :mrgreen
