    I've been doing some research on this unit...how the hell does it work? From what I'm gleaming form the online documentation I need to have other MSD items in the car to utilize it.

    To my knowledge, I need one that I connect +12v and ground to and stick it inline with the TACH wire off the ECU to correct the jumpy tach I have now.

    Yeah, this is used with an MSD box or other external ignition system.

    Yeah that won't work with my application. Looking for something similar to the Dakota Digital adapter.

    :sigh: My search continues. Really don't wanna buy a new one either (I'd rather use that $$ to get the exhaust done).
