i got some lowering springs :D

    well i did what you guys said - JAMEX = NO NO NO NO

    KING SPRINGS = YES :D

    there super lows so dont know how theyl look , long as the car doesnt go crazy bumpy like cut springs or my tyres rub or it fails wof i dont care,
    i think itll look good , ill post pics up when there installed

    How low are those vs stock?

    1.5 to 2inch lol im not too sure really, something i guess ill have to find out :D

    when the last person had them on, they said there dropped there celica around 2 inchs but that was a guess from them , lol they took them out found them to be too low for them , tho hopefully tha doesnt end up to be my problem

    WOHOO!! hope they work out and they rnt too low. they will certainly make the car look awesome.

    Looks good mate! i had superlows in the white coupe..had 16" and they tucked really nice in the guard up the front (no scrub) and a really good height in the back... just above legal height to...

    cool man , duno if you expected this , do you have pics :D

    my wheels are 195/55/15 , so you reckon they wont rub ?

    our legal limit , is

    • a minimum of 100 mm ground clearance exists below any part of the vehicle
    structure, or any steering, braking, or suspension component1, and
    • the normal relationship between front and rear suspension height is not unduly affected.

    hey got those springs installed yet?
    im thinking very seriously bout getting a set theres some selling them over ebay for $260 for all 4
    let us know and id love to see the pics to

    well ive paid for them just waiting for the money to go in the guys account then , getting them shipped here , then once that is done , off to the mechanics to get installed,

    i will definitly be posting pics

    If they are the origonal 20 year old shocks, chances are they are worn and will bottom out every time you hit a bump. Then your going to have to pay the mechanic again to do the exact same job fitting the new shocks. I bought new KYB shocks a few days ago, $450 for all 4. Get the springs tomorrow and fitting it all on Friday (which is why my fridge is full of beer, lol).

    $450 bit much for my apprentice budget lol, i know someone who who can get pedders cheap so i might see what price i can get on just the basic sport range or something from pedders

    yeah tru thx for the replies^^

    ill have to talkie to my mechs when i get them in ,

    hopefuly when they look at my celica they can tell me what my anoying cold start up jingle is lol , drives me mad for 5 secs on start up

    could be oil pump , well something to do with oil

    bump , springs will be here next week :D

    when there here itl be getting booked in , and done then going for alignment , aka the usual stuff you do after you change your springs

    will post pics when its all done for those who want to see
