yup you could do that but coolant passages in the head wont line up with the block. You can always fix that though

 

i know of a guy that has built a 5sfe bottom and mated it with a 3sgte upper, car puts somewhere in the league of 700 hp out.But this is no ordinary man..He is a toyota tuning god.
And the 5s-gte is in a 93 camry :O

 

700HP- with a FE lower end- I dont think thatds possible- or he is running the 8th mile and replacing the block after every run! :?

I was under the impression that it was a 5s, thats how Justin talked when he was doin the swap.

 

I ment i thought it was a stock 5s, like the ones in every other cam or celi
