Ordered a set of rubber from DTD last Wednesday and UPS delivered today! I also started working on the 7th gen wheels... today I finished sanding all four wheels, cleaned, and applied some bondo... Hopefully the bondo will hold... Only three came today... 4th one should be here on Monday from a different warehouse... From this....
primed using rustoleum self etching primer... 1 can did all four... i did at least 2 thin coat and 1 good coat for the final one... there are some spots for improvement but i believe not visible to the naked eye from a good standing distance... still debating if i should go stock color for the rims or go dark... maybe pewter like or graphite color... any thoughts? as of now my car's paint is bad and im planning on doing it myself in the summer... i want either silver or charcoal gray for the paint... hopefully the paint sticks when i change tires on saturday
