    ad:

"1992 Toyota Celica GT 2.2 litre engine always Synthetic oil, E-tested perfect body fresh paint 100% rust free no scratches and in great mechanical shape, Cruise, bucket seats, Alloy wheels, power windows, power mirrors, power locks, tilt, AC, 5 speed CD/MP3 player New clutch, Timing Beflt plugs wires, cap, rotor, air intake, fuel filter, tie rod ends, and newer brakes. Beautiful car 212000km Hwy miles I drive from London to Milton everyday $2500.00 firm "

I believe a cash deal would drop the price a few hundred, I'm hoping to give him $2000 because I have to etest and safety myself.... Keep in mind 212k kms is about 100k miles.....

So provided the car is in reasonable shape I'm probably going to get it....

To the people that own 5th gen's here.... are there any common problem's with them??

    So thoughts opinions welcome :D

I've owned 2 5th gens. First one had 208k miles on it before i tosed it for my trac. Only problem i had on it(which i had on my trac and other 5th gen) was the oil pump seal. All 3 of them when while i owned it which wasn't too big of a deal or fix. Otherwise, their awsome/reliable cars. Go for it man. Cash is very influencal. The guy that owned my trac wanted 3k for it. I had 2100 in my hand and after 20min of argueing, he took it.

No 4th gen gt-s's up there? You'd have the Black GT-S for parts or viceversa depending ;)

As for 5th's, I suppose I wouldn't pass-up a good deal if I had $. They're pretty decent looking, more OEM and AM parts too

So does this mean your going to change this site to st184.com?

If you buy it, get rid of the 5S-FE, and put in a ST185 3S-GTE! :p

yeah the main problem with those is that damn seal. my girlfriends camry hasa the same problem. no biggie. we add oil. anyways there is a huge aftermarket source for that car, the camrys and the 6 gen celica as well. so finding parts and cheap ones at that will not be a problem. yeah if you ca get that for a daily driver, might as well. and shit 100k miles really is nothing on that motor. just check gaskets and radiator and tranny fluid if possible. good luck.

im guessing this is going to replace your camry?? and look for the normal stuff like bad rust that could hurt the structure, poke around to see if it might have had a bad accident or something like that and if someone says somethings that often break on them check that out too. if all that kinda stuff looks good go for it man!! nice red colour but those rims are kinda... lets say not nice looking to be nice to them lol. but im sure thats something one would get used to.

yeah I'll definetly take a magnet with me to see if there's bondo hidden...and im definetly keeping the 4th gen...this car is more for my gf than me....she likes the 5th gen's better....and I don't mind them....and I think it might be a bit more reliable since all of our 4th gen's are rusted out... I need something I can buy and drive right now...not fix up..... that's what the gt-s is for :D

They are stock rims... What can you expect? Car manufactures had no taste back then, not that they do now though. They still beat stock 4th gen rims!
