fuel filter

Look underneath the brake master cylinder. Should be right there. Same place on all 4th gens from what I have seen.

 

For a LHD car it would be there, but remember in NZ/Aust we drive on the RHS

Its located underneath the AFM on the firewall on a RHD car. Its a massive PITA to replace if it hasn't been changed for a while.

 

It's hard to get off because of corrosion if it's never been replaced, I ended up cutting the tube and replacing about a 2 inch section with fuel hose and some clamps to make it work.......and it worked great!

Ok..well, for some reason my pic got down sized but the top box says [BRAKE BOOSTER] and the lower one sayd [FUEL FILTER]

 

Yota, obviously you've never tried to take of a 20 year old Canadian's car's fuel filter lol
