if i have troubles with switches there is a simple and easy way to test them. if you have a circuit tester, and set it to continuity tester, and put the two prongs on either end of the switch... turn it on and see does it noise or give a result. the switches CAN be cleaned better... all that black carbon sutt thats been arced onto the surface must be taken off... i recommend using 600 grit sandpaper.. or, if you live with a woman.... rob there nail file (its just as handy and its usually easier to work with) and get that carbon off! DONT bend the copper contacts it doesnt work there set right and unless you have a super hard finger when your pressing the switch they wont bend outa place.

now, the motor should be cleaned and greases up and while its out the gearing should be checked to see that all the gear teeth and in good working order, if not they need to be fixed to stop the window jamming up...

the circut breaker should be reset as soon as you take it out, if it works one way its not the circut breakers fault... ( somebody correct me if im wrong ) but im sure myself that if it works one way and not the other its the switch

grease everything up and put it back to ensure that you can get another 20 years out of the power window system! i hope this helps ya! :D

    Cool!

I'll try to give an update from now, even if it's still working.

    Cheers all,
