im probobly gonna have to take my engine out to get my trans out. So, i have ecu disonnected, im trying to pull it threw the firewall but its a PITA. Can i move this(see pic below) out of the way? it would be so much easier if i disconected the hose and moved it aside.

Next, im just gonna disconnect the ps pump resivior to remove the engine, its easier. where should i disconnnect the hose(see pic below)?

well what I did was leave the wiring harness in the car. I unbolted the intake manifold from the engine and strapped it up to the firewall...so I didn't have to mess with any wiring. I'm pretty sure I did the same thing with the ps pump so I didn't have to unbolt the high pressure lines

i got the harness out, what a PITA that was with the ps line in there. Now for the power steering pump, should i remove it like BGB says or should i just disconnect the resivoir? what would be good to plug the resivior with?

    so close guys

Like I said I personally would just remove it from the motor and leave it attached to the high pressure lines....they might be more of a headache then they are worth to take them off

Ok You disconnect the High pressure hose.
    Leave the pump on
disconnect the hose from the bottom of the resevoir (fuck I can't spell.
Taking the harness with the engine is so much easyier than disconnecting all the little plugs.
    Disconnect Speedo Cable
    Disconnect Heater core hoses
Disconnect fuel line to fuel filter
    Disconnect Shift linkage.
I remove the charcol canister for more room.
    Remove the radiator
Unplug wiring harness from bottom of fuse box.
undo A/C lines if is dead already. If its cold. Unbolt it and tie it off to the side.
    Unbolt your Down pipe.
    I remove both cross members
    Then disconnect motor mounts
Now lower it to the ground, lift up car and pull it out. or
If you don't have a leveler you need to offset your chain so it will pull the engine out timing side first so that the tranns can clear the thing the batter sits on.

This is for to pull an NA engine out it will be alot of help.
