Does anybody have any sources for after market bolt on exhaust for a 87 GT 162 chassies, 3sge engine. Looking for header, downpipe, cat., etc. even if the parts are from differant companys. Mine is shot!! Thanks.
no headers except for genie in AU. and i have no idea how those work out for the guys over there or how to even get them here. everything else is pretty much custom. i tried looking for headers but could only find them for the gt and st models with the 3sfe in it. but shit they added more power to that engine and almost made it worth buying that trim for me. but i got the gt-s instead. i think any can will work as long as you do not go bigger than a 3.5 outlet and a 2.5 inlet...i think. i may be wrong. but i am pretty sure everything else is all custom jobs. good luck! let us know if you find anything!
Do any other exhaust parts fit mine from other celica's, tail pipe or whatever. Just would like to start with something.
not to my knowledge. i havent heard of anyone taking components of of like an ra60 or a st20. it might be possible. probably just have to look at the size and diameter of the downpipe of our car and match it to the others. if it was a 5 and 6 gen there wouldnt be a problem, but we werent lucky enough to get the 5sfe...or unlucky depending on how you look at it.
For the 3sge engine you have to either get a JDM 2nd gen 3sge tubular header or swap the 3sge tranny for the 3sfe and then you will have about 4-5 headers to choose from..i'll post links if you do the tranny swap..if not..Good luck on finding a jdm header..and expect to pay 250+Shipping or more.
hey realized my engine is the 3sfe so do the jdm headers work with this setup. what's the web site for them not sure if i'm finding the right one. what about pacesetter headers or there exhaust systems. thanks

on my FE i used the pacesetter 4-1 which is different now. but it was a great header. ugly but great.
I thinking of gettin a header but I can't seem to find any for a Gts, they all say will not fit gts or its for a turbo. So any idea of where to look for one?????
we have genie extractors here down under, and they seem to work great! they looks nice too, but im soon to spray mine black... they are kinda hard to come by over here, but if you want i can keep my eye out for a set, but im sure shipping would rape you... dont forget about shipping haha
well if you perform the tranny swap then i guess there are a few to choose from, but short of custom fab, there isnt much to look for. unless someone has something up their sleeve.
