brown on the elbow ? swich on the termostat housing ? water temp gauge ? where coul be the source of error elswhere ? thx .... any connection with csome vsv posibbly ?
not the gauge or the 1 wire sensor in the elbow. there should not be a sensor on the thermostat housing. i don't think it is the sensor in the bottom of the rad either. i wonder does the gauge work?
I found that the oil pressure gauge has a small spiral wire setup that will short out and burn the casing and wires causing the gauge to malfunction.
i have a 87 gts without radiator senzor, i have it on the thermostat housing... btw i think that the wire has lost the connection somewhere, is there any ewd metion of that circuit so i can try to track down the problem .... txh..
