8/27/07 Im going to just make a custom rear seat beat bracket to seat belt bracket brace for my autox'ing and stiffin up the chassis instead of going with the box idea. So as i'm finishing up on the headlight mod i am starting another.I removed the rear seats and started measuring and drawing out my NOS & box install. Where the seats were, Will now be a contoured plywood box that i will bolt down into where the seat belt and seat brackets held it down.I really wanted to take the carpet that extends from the rear cargo area onto the box but it way not long enough.So i will cover the sides of the box in black carpet and the top will be plexi glass and have a locking hinge type of top to have easy maintenance to the NOS bottle.Pics will be up soon
Thanks for the heads up Maf, But i wont be doing any drilling into the floorpans..im gonna use the existing rear seat brackets/and seat belt holes to mount the box
