3S-FE or 5S-FE cylinder head. A140 or compatible transmission. Let me know what you guys have in terms of compatible stuff, let it be later trans, or even s53/s52 or whatever the manual trans is. Pretty depressed right now. Car is sitting in garage not to be touched. Nate/Rick, I most likely can't make it down there with the Celica to get it fixed down there. Unless I redline at 30mph on first gear all the way there. :help

Don't think it would need checked really, timing belt failure, so no overheating, valves are all fine, head gasket was fine, dunno how much, but the Supra cost me for decking, valve stem seals installed, and magnaflux was close to $275.... The Red Lady's tranny got too hot to trust in the fire...Too bad, that trans had less than 1000 miles on a $900 rebuild and new converter. Probably part of that new Super Bridge in China....

I made that mistake !!! :banghead Instead of a $200 low mile used one, I ended up with a $900 reman that I only used for 6 months... :sad5
