That way you can adapt the existing loom to fit everything. mounting brackets, two options, either drill a hole in the metal on the front off the inner wing and affix a bolt so you can bolt up the light. or what I did was to make up a " L" shaped bracket, screwed in to the base of the light, which you can bolt in to the mount that hold the grill in too. ***any holes drilling into these lights, be very careful, they crack very easily, and make sure any hole is properly sealed, as any damp will lead to condensation in the light fixture**** One problem is that the rear light moulding is different to stock, and so the lights don't locate as well, as stock, this is one issue I have still to fix, and currently my lights can work a bit loose with all the rough track work I do.
