Mine does it too, from the back I think. They have a lightweight body shell thats been bouncing round on Aussie roads for 20 years, id expect it haha...
There's alot of flex in the frame by factory standard, more so with 'verts for obvious reasons. Check to see how your doors close, tend to sag from what I've experienced and read. I don't think you guys have rust like I do here, but I suppose you could get it on a lift and inspect frame parts. Suspension/Swaybars etc. -K
Low speed turning, especially near full lock? Could be steering rack components or low fluid in PS pump. Easy check.
Check the rubber stops for the hatch (if it is a hatchback). They are probably worn and hard as rock - you can spray them with silicone lube or replace them. You might also want to check the alignment of the latch for the hatch. It can be moved up and down on the car. If it's too far up or the bolts are a bit loose, the hatch can rattle and creak.
mine sounds about the same sounds comes from my driver door ...which does not appear to sag symptoms: i forgot, i'll add to this later when i drive around tomorrow -edit- noise comes from the window ...guess it is my door sagging
I have found that i have a creaking in my front end as well. i find it comes from the door, but im prety sure it doesnt sag, but i will check it out
doors sagging all the way mine have always shut and oped the same and i never noticed anything eversince i began assembling cars and realised how crucial it is getting the door alignment right i realised mine have sagged and rest on the hinges try opening them slowly trying not to bare any waight with your hand and also gently pusing the door closed. if it is sagging that should reveal it also the windows dont sit to snug in there on 20 something year old rubbers so wouldnt be surprised if it was in that either
