Ok, so a couple of minutes ago, i tried to start my Celica, at first it almost turn on, but it din't (sometimes she does this if she's an entire day sitting cold) so when i tried to start her again, it won't! This had not happened to me ever, so i don't know what the f*ck is wrong with her, i recorded a video so you guys can see,

    I think is the battery?

Do you hear anything? Any clicking sound?

Judging by how fast that gauge is dipping (granted it is a 30 year old voltmeter) I would be leaned to say battery. What's the voltage like at the battery? Grab a multimeter and test it.

Is it a 5speed? Try to push start it (push it, drop the clutch in 2nd gear and it should fire up). The car should run just fine (as the alternator provides enough umph for the motor to run).

Yeah called my mechanic, he told me the same, battery.. but, if i start it like that, when i turn it off, and turn it on again i will have to push it again?

    Yep.

Or you push start it, drive it to a store, don't turn off the car, test the old battery, then buy a new one and install it.

What is the battery voltage when disconnected?
What happens when you hold the key in start position?
Have you tried charging the battery?

Take off the battery leads and clean the teminals and clamps with sandpaper - try again
Looks to me like bad contacts or no earth to the starter

reminds me of the starter relay thing we 4th gen's have. Try holding the key in the start position for 10-15 seconds, wait what happens :). Also if it is a manual, try moving it forward/backward in 2nd gear or so, so the starter position will change just that bit compared to the flywheel. Starter can be worn as well, had that in other celica's as well.

I would check out the starter first. Typically if its the battery you hear a ticking. try the starter hack or rocking it back and forth like lone wolf said. If all fails give it a good tap with a hammer! sometimes they get a little stuck.

    Not necessarily true.

It could be anything. For all we know a ROUS gained access into his engine bay and snacked on his wiring. At this point all we can do is just speculate. Without him testing his battery and checking the connections it's anyone's game.

I dont think that they have any wild ROUSES in Texas...
It could be any of the above. I'm leaning toward bad starter if the battery's good and the terminals are clean,

the reason im saying starter is because at the start of the vid the battery is showing 12v and there is no noise when the ignition is turned on so that means something is grounding somewere.

    Thanks guys!

I took the battery to a local shop, and they charge it and test it and battery is OK car turned on first try, i think is the radio, sometimes when i turn off the car, radio stay on and i have to turn it off myself, and when i do that, the radio clock stay on.... i think is that.. what u guys think?>

BTW, at that time showed 12v, the other day, nothing turned on!
