Don't know about the heater but how is the engine coming? going to get it in before winter hits?

Also I've still got that down pipe I held on to that was with that setup...I thought I would use it for my swap but didn't...I would like to get $50 for it if you want it.

Well boys this build thread is about to blow up!!...ive been kinda dormant around here since i stupidly blew up the Fe last christmas an been trying to build the gte but a stroke of luck has come to me an im hopng to have a new FE this weekend and maybe a running car by december. this year of not having my car has let me do a TON of planning an if you could see my car in my head (stage 1-cheap, ratty looking, low n slow mobile and stage 2-clean, coiled, bodykitted and FAST) man is she gonna be cool haha...but just wanted to put this out there to keep your eyes peeled because i got BIG plans for my 162 an wont be messing around this time!!

Aright alright alriiiight!!! Picked up my FE on Sunday an got her sittin in my house now waiting for pay day so I can replace a few gaskets, do a Lil tune up an drop her in...I'm not looking to do a whole lot on the engine just enough to refresh her a bit an make a good temp motor...i plan on replacing the head/intake/exhauste/valve cover/oil pan/thermostat gaskets, new belts of course, new plugs an wires, oil filter an just pick an choose between my two motors for the best parts ..anything else you guys would recommend I replace?

My optomistic goal is to have her running an driving by the 7th for the NW toy run

Well boys she's starting to come together!! I was able to get the FE un seized but I had to pull the crank n pistons so what was gonna be a regasket in has turned into a complete overhaul minus the crank, rods, n pistons (I did have them mic'd tho)...an I'm not really complainin haha. Tore the entire block down an spent two days straight scrubbing all the parts clean, honed out the cylinders an got the block painted too!! As of right now I got the crank bolted in with new bearings an waiting on my rings which should be here tommara...I'm wanting to have the engine assembled an In by the end of the weekend!! Just waiting on my pumps an a few other miscellaneous parts

    Scrub a dud dud
