So messaged a few ppl about what to do and not about rebuilding my 1st gen head and i got no response do im gonna putting out on the forum: Has anyone had their head rebuilt first off ?? Will aftermarket 3sgte valves, lifters, valve springs fit a 3sge? Port and Polish, Worth it? knife edge crank, Worth it? reground Cams, Worth it? high comp [10.5:1] pistons Any tuning required if i go with all of the previous Q?'s ?
it's all money. what you want to do. everything listed will work but the head parts get from toda. not GTE parts there are more ge parts than gte and no tuning unless you need more fuel
Thanks Maf...I would get GE parts From Toda But they only have listings for GTE parts. And yea i highly doubt i will need more fuel. Any idea where i can find GE perf valves, springs and lifters? I can get stock from autozone..adavance auto..etc..but if i am gonna throw down the money i might as well upgrade.
