I'm setting up for auto cross to better learn the handling of my car "legally" Hoping the Subaru guys in NOVA will have a snow auto cross that I can jump in on I enjoyed the crap out of a ride along in my friend's 04 STi Preparation Phase one... New Wheels/Tires (I had so much fun trying them out I forgot to take pictures until it got dark) I got a comment from some people I'm going with Q: "Why don't you lower it you'll have better handling?" A: I need the ground clearance trust me you'll see this summer Q: "You totally need a better offset you're wide body is making those look rather goofy" A: I know, gotta get that taken care of soon Rally Cross Mods Planned (before rally season starts) - Getting a set of Blown 185 Struts/Shocks to make Coil over Insert Set (wanna have stock pair as spares) - Cleaning up stock wheels if I don't sell them and getting some dirt/off road bubble tires - 4 Point Harness - Do something with the rear seats either clean them up/replace them or nuke them. Videos and Pictures Will be posted as I make changes and of AX event (probably going to mount a camera)
I hope you fixed your stock seats. Because that is definitely not a safe thing to be doing if they're still off.
Mike I'm in the process of getting my 7th gen seats and my red touring seats set up for my car, talking to a couple vocational schools. Gonna order 4 point harnes soon
Alright, I'm buying new tires.... WOOO Also managed to get 2 tickets! (inspection sticker and BS illegal u turn, but it could have been worse, he could have given me 2 more tickets had I not told him I was waiting on Toyota to get the parts in) haven't figured out how much they are yet but I know I can show up for court and get the inspection dismissed and since I don't really have any serious tickets I might get off on the u-turn deal But Track side note, I performed well below what I had expected out of the car, but its all in the tires, I went cheap and kept with stock scion tc tires which couldnt hook it so I'm going to talk to a friend of mine who works for Yokohama and get some good track tires cheap
