Has anyone been to see this car yet ?...... If someone is having a look, could you please check to see if it has the cruise control actuator under the bonnet near the alternator.

After years of trying to learn about these rare cars there's always a curve ball thrown in at some stage.

I'v always understood that ALL White lightnings are meant to have cruise control with the buttons on the 3 o'clock spoke on the steering wheel but that indeed looks like an original steering wheel............. WTF :scratch

Do some manual White lightnings NOT have cruise, any thoughts folks ?

I'm going there tomorrow, i'll take my manual and have a look for you. Do you want any of the cruise system if it has it?
This guy wants a fair bit for somethings, we'll see how it goes

How far away is he, let us know how it goes............ Which manual do have ?

My cruise is all good, I'm always curious about these rare lightnings............... I always thought that all manual and automatic lightnings had cruise buttons at 3 o'clock, ask him for me and see if he knows anything about what I'm saying............. While your at it, ask him why he parted it.

Check that electric arial for over-all condition, especially rust, thanks.

    the bad
no cruise control, no seats, blown head gasket, engine block passages have stop leak in them. missing sunroof, no dash, no aerial
    the good
Perfect body, new tyres, black interior, lots of bits and pieces there.
    the best
most likely buying the shell whole and have a project white lightening.

Bah it's never that easy. Just heard back and he wants to keep parting out to make his money back.
Hes looking to recoup 2000$ way more than I can do for a non running car.
Fair enough, decent dude, said he will call before scrapping the shell.
Could still be a project just a longer time frame heheh.
If anyone wants the steering wheel it's great I'll find out how much.
