Anyone else eat a lot of pavement?

all the time with my old GT, but it definitely had weak suspension

 

:shock I love the low ride and centre of gravity of our Yotas and forever have a problem scraping my lower lip but never the pan.

 

only frontbumper sometimes, never the pan. Suspension is done I guess.

 

Damn you......... Sometimes I wish I had NO suspension :lachtot

 

sorry i misread the OP's post. i only hit trans pan when i'm doing something ridiculously stupid. otherwise it was just the front lip

 

mine has cut coils ......is in perfect alignment rides and handles awesome thanks to agxs up front and gr2s in the rear ... i totally agree its a stupid thing to do but springs for our cars are like unobtanium ... ive found two sets that i know about and they 250 bucks and only drop it one inch ill save my money for engine upgrades and polybushings.

you guys are amazing i thought i checked everywhere all i found was eibachs and suspension technigues. Thanx for the tip ill add them to my wish list. i visited the site for the megans and it said they fit 90 -99 are they compatible with our 4 gen stuff? if so that is a smokin deal

some 185's were made in 89........do your research first man.

 

I use the oem shocks with springs of apex. Hope to buy me the set of ebay next year.

looks like the ones I have went out of producttion...I had specific 4th gen springs from them.

yeah im thinking 10/89 is just an early production of the fifth gen but sometimes dont you think even if the product fits they wont tell you cuz some panel of researchers says there isnt a market for it......take my agx,s for example, said they were only for an alltrac fit mine with out one mod....my bumper lens for my 96 t100 pickup fit from an 89-95 high lux companies just dont do their own research.....i want to hear from somebody thats actually tried it then it would be a safe purchase.

 

actually i wasnt refering to you but to the person who made the thread.......so when you stop acting like a child and think that every comment i make is against you then may7be you step back and say to yourself what a complete ass you just made of yourself.

 

some 5th gen parts can and will fit the 4th gens......not sure on spring size but i know that with a little clearance mod on coilovers you can fit the megans like tim did on his 89 gts.
