    Hello everyone,

So my a/c blows hard, but no cold air, just normal air?
I tried to refill it myself with the freon but nothing, :(
Took it to my mechanic, and he told me the a/c compressor is out. (I think this is normal in Celica's, my 5th gen i had to replace the compressor too)

I called autozone, they have one (special order take 1 week) for $336.99 EVERCO
    http://www.autozone.com/autozone/parts/1987-Toyota-Celica/A-C-Compressor/_/N-iivbxZ9pd82
-Remanufactured, and just 3 months of warranty/??!

Then, i called o'reilly, they have one (special order too) for:
    $209.99 MURRAY Without Clutch
    http://www.oreillyauto.com/site/c/d...=Search_02645_1273980_2089&pt=02645&ppt=C0354

    And $317.99 MURRAY with clutch

But, I searched and it looks like the compressor is not limited to the 3SFE? It will fit some other cars?

I wouldn't buy one, rather find one at the yards. You can use one from Camry, Corona, MR2, RAV4 etc (wasn't sure about Corolla as the belts are different)

Have you converted your system to R13?, if not I suggest you do now, also the drier may need replacing.
If the pressure is too low the compressor won't kick in either, did you measure the pressure?

The pipes on just about every pump I've seen are different, might be worthwhile to fit a R13 pump and have the pipes made up.

I think by law you have to have the R12 sucked out by a pro,
