88 alltrac problem found! still need a head

this is a start of a probably ongoing project.

just got the car towed home from wheeler airforce base

apexi n1 custom catback exhaust (needs to be polished up)

fmic securely mounted via custom brackets (scrap steel ftw :mrgreen: )

i also got the cold side piping done but will probably re-do them since its blocking the turbo from having a straight intake :|

*plans for tomorrow*

relocate battery to trunk

mount msd blaster coil to something secure instead of having it dangle :shock:

*update*

its been a while since i last touched the car

things i've done today

ct26 from 7mgte mounted and clocked
cold side intercooler piping done (just need to weld on alluminum hks flange)
interior was put all back in (needs to be removed again to remove heater core, evap, and all unnecessary plumbing and ducts)


slow and tedious but will be worth it in the end.
i'm planning on painting most of the engine pieces. i want this thing showroom clean.

its a slow process but im on a budget so choosing the right parts is critical.

so update on today:

ordered another t-bolt clamp for the turbo outlet
ordered 2.75" to 3" coupler for turo inlet to 3" straight intake pipe
ordered 3" to 3" coupler for maf to intake pipe
ordered oil cooler for power steering.

hot side intercooler piping done

me and the gf made 2 years so we're going on a little trip. hopefully i'll get some time in after we leave.

haha, i just did 8) . she's been sleeping since then (6hrs ago). is it bad that i'm thinking about the celica while i'm with my gf?
