hey i have an 88 celica sx it isnt being used atm because of my dad crashing it :cry: while chasing my brothers 86 rx7 gt limited which died half way round a corner no structual damage just smashed light and guard while it wasnt being used i thought id get a gt4 halfcut or 3sgte motor for a swap the rx7 gets away on the straight but the celica passes it in the corners i think the 3sgte would even us out on the straights is there anyone who has done this and knows any probs or of a better conversion
If you swap the same year motor 88-89 it's almost a straight bolt up job.... And, would give you close to 200hp...which will most likely smoke the RX7... Do a search on "swap 3sge 3sgte" in our forum's, there will be lots of info on the swap.
