hey so my 3sge has shattered rings. and its been rebuilt 4 times now over its life. i can get a 2nd gen JDM gte but i am not sure that everything is with the motor. ECU is there, but im not shure all the wiring harness is because its been cut. my question is i have a nice ported and polish head on my GE and its mint. can i put the ge head on the gte block and just use my head and cams from the ge and put all the intake and sensors from the gte on the ge head, will the compression be the same? also beeing this is engine is from a RHD car will i have to cut and extend the wiring harness regardless for my LHD celica? the turbo and intercooler are missing from the engine. what turbo should i run if i get it and for intercoolers this is out of a st185 celica RC so intercooler was diffrent to start with can i just run a regular air/air intercooler. this engine is next door to where i work from an importer, he bought it for a parts engine but never put it in a car and sold the turbo.
also mass air flow sensor, do you just use your existing one and it works with the 3sgte computer i already have an fe transmission with starter mounted on the transmission side although my car is a gt-s and has a GE
oh boy here we go... you need the harness. you'll have to check the ecu to see which year you have and match the ignitor to it. you need a mr2/185 afm your stock one won't work. trans is fine and you could swap the head but you'd be loosing power swapping to a gen 1 head on a gen 2 motor.
