We're gettin closer!! As of today I got the pistons in, and the head torqued down. Gonna get the cams in on Sunday (Hawks tommara!!) An do what ever else I can do until my oil and water pump come In wensdayish

I'm gonna polish up the head before I drop the engine in

I also was board an had some extra spray paint layin around so I did this!!

I know they engine an block don't match at all but it ain't no thing haha...i also wanna wrap all my wires in either colored electric tape or mabey colored loom...either way I'm gonna have a very vibrant engine bay.
I've also got a line on someone that can clean, port n polish the old head an a line on someone else that will grind the cams a lil more agresive and all that plus a full exhaust (dose obx still make headers for the FE?) An I might deffinetly have a hot little FE

yea dude im pretty excited. i also am gonna repaint the block before i drop it in. i found some forest green block paint so that i stick with the color scheme that im gonna have once i paint the car (forrest green/gold). the cars deffinetly gonna be lookin hoop for awhile but when ya pop the hood itll be cherry haha. an i did find that OBX still makes 3sfe headers so ill still end up gettin one not only for the performance but also just to clean up the bay even more. I still am eventually gonna build that GTE the rest of the way but for know im gonna make a Hot little FE an then when i finish the GTE whenever ill drop that in an have a good back up motor

Are you going to relocate the battery to the trunk or leave it underneath the hood?

Hmm didn't really think about that but now that ya mention it prolly the later. Is it a matter of just running longer cables an building a box?
